Pitching Tool - Hand Set

SM40-O, SM50-O

This pitching tool is also known as a hand set. The SM40-O has a 1-1/2" wide flat carbide blade and the SM50-O has a 2" blade, both with an oval body. Stone masons tip this carbide hand chisel on its edge and strike it along a line to square and trim granite or other hard stone. When the blade becomes dull, turn and use the other edge. The tungsten carbide on this chisel is recessed deep into the steel body allowing for multiple sharpening and long life.

 

Pitching Tool - Hand Set

SM40-R, SM50-R

This pitching tool is also known as a hand set. The SM40-R has a 1-1/2" wide flat carbide blade and the SM50-R has a 2" blade, both with a round body. Bellota Hammer, Bell Hammer, (stone working tool)

The Bellota round hammer is perfect for stone masons to use on their Rebit hand chisels. The 2.2Lb (1031-O) and 2.5Lb (1031-A) are the ideal weight and shape for comfortable day long use. The round head on the bell hammer allows for a controlled swing as opposed to having to direct the head of a regular hammer.
